ARHUS Arhus is the second oldest city in Denmark, and the Old Town is one large open air museum. There is also an excellent anthropological museum here where rare discoveries are exhibited.

ODENSE There are almost 200,000 in the city full of pedestrian streets and cycling paths. Named after Thor’s father, Odin, the city is best known as the birthplace of Hans Christian Andersen. Antique shops are like museums.

VIKINGS OF DENMARK Megalithis remnants and ancient Viking burial sites piece together a picture of ancient life in Denmark. One of the best Viking museums is at Roskilde. Here you can see the remains of authentic Viking ships, and another important Viking village reconstruction is at Leyre.
