MIA welcomed 22.8 million passengers in 2018 (11.2 million international arrivals and 11.6 million domestic arrivals). MIA continues to attract new airline carriers as well as introduce new international routes through existing airline partners. MIA is home to more than 100 airlines, more than any other U.S. airport.

This summer, Wynwood Kitchen & Bar is changing the way locals and tourists see the Wynwood Walls. Hai Hospitality, the Austin, TX-based restaurant group, announced the location of its forthcoming Uchi in Miami, the company’s eighth restaurant. Owner and Executive Chef Tyson Cole’s Uchi will be located at 252 NW 25th Street in Wynwood 25, a new mixed-use development in the heart of Miami’s Wynwood Arts District. Uchi Miami will mark the first time the group has opened a restaurant in Florida and its second restaurant outside of Texas. The menu at Uchi, which translated from Japanese means “house”, will include hot and cool tastings, makimono, yakimono, tempura and, of course, sushi and sashimi.
